FAS Buckleguard provides travel safety for passengers at risk of undoing their seat belt buckles whilst traveling in motor vehicles. It has been designed taking into consideration Australian and New Zealand Standard AS/NZS 4370:2013 Restraint of Children with Disabilities, or Medical Conditions, in Motor Vehicles. The Buckleguard is trusted by parents and allied health professionals globally and remains the leading buckle restraint product in Australia due to its strong and quality design.

The Buckle Guard slips over the existing seat belt buckle. Once applied, the buckle can only be released by inserting a car key (or key shaped objects) into its slot.

Made of ABS plastic, strong and difficult to break, see-through design for clear view of buckle.

One size: 50 mm W x 36 mm H x 60 mm D, suits most car seat belt buckles. Two wedge spacers are provided to be taped onto the internal surfaces of the Buckle Guard to accommodate for various and smaller size buckles. The spacers may be snapped into 4 smaller wedge spacers for more fit options.

Toxicity has been tested for the plastic and the Buckleguard is safe for use over 5 years. A sticker is provided to record the recommended replacement date. 

Please note: For legal and safety reasons for Australian users, it is required by the Australian / New Zealand Standard AS/NZS 4370:2013 Restraint of Children with Disabilities, or Medical Conditions, in Motor Vehicles, that a letter is obtained from the user's prescriber outlining the medical condition / disability resason for why the Buckleguard has been prescribed as a seat belt restraint. A copy of this letter should be kept in the vehicle where the Buckleguard is used. A prescriber is a person responsible for assessing the individual's needs and prescribing the way in which the user with a disability or medical condition should be transported in a motor vehicle.
